Naval Service (Ireland)
The Naval Service ((アイルランド語:an tSeirbhís Chabhlaigh)) is the maritime component of the Defence Forces of Ireland and is one of the three standing branches of the Irish Defence Forces.〔The Irish Defence Forces are made up of the Permanent Defence Forces (PDF) – the standing branches – and the Reserve Defence Forces (RDF). The Naval Service is part of the PDF.〕 Its base is in Haulbowline, County Cork.
